Individual Transport
Our Individual Transport services are tailored to our customers needs and we provide accessible vehicles for people who cannot easily use public transport or who are transport-disadvantaged.

Our Individual service can transport you to medical related appointments such as GP, dentist, optician, hospital or other clinics within B&NES, as well as to Bristol hospitals including Southmead and the BRI.

Subject to availability, transport to shops or other destinations can be arranged.

Our minibuses have easy access side steps, as well as a tail lift for those in wheelchairs or unable to manage the side steps.

You are welcome to bring a travel companion with you, and we also have room to store sticks, walking frames and walkers.

Wheelchair users that can transfer to a regular seat once on board, must bring a carer or assistant to help them if they cannot manage this alone.
For wheelchair users that are unable to transfer, travel is possible by remaining in the wheelchair using a clamping system. For safety reasons, the wheelchair must meet certain criteria to do this – It must be a ‘crash tested’ model, have a working lap belt, and if the wheelchair has a tilt function, the passenger must be sitting upright, not tilted back.
Although we receive some funding each year, it doesn’t cover all our costs, so a charge is payable for each trip. You will be advised of the charge when you make a booking enquiry.

Our phone lines are open Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) from 9 am to 5pm.
To support as many people as possible, office staff also cover some driving, please leave a message if it goes to voicemail with your name, contact number and details of your enquiry. Alternatively fill in the form on the ‘contact page’ using the button below.
